I grew up in the central valley in Fresno, CA! Growing up as a first generation, Hmong American student I've learned to work hard for the people I love. My purpose and goals have always been driven by my family!
Success is not only about what I have accomplished, but also about how I can support and uplift the people around me.

Discovering Design
My UX Design journey began in 2024, when my school district faced a school shooting threat. This experience showed me how important communication, trust, and access to reliable information are during moments of uncertainty.
This inspired me to design a digital product focused on improving student safety, strengthening trust between parents, students, and staff, and making important school district information more accessible and understandable.
This product is currently still in development.
Purpose in Practice
Today, I am an undergrad student at UCLA majoring in Psychology and minoring in Digital Humanities.
I design products and tell visual stories for social good to positively impact the communities in the world. I believe in empowering communities by bridging design and technology to amplify underrepresented voices.
